I’m excited to introduce “A Daddy’s Story”—a new and meaningful chapter in my life. It’s a project that’s been on my heart for a long time, and I’m finally stepping out of my comfort zone to share it with you all.

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Billy Scott. I grew up in Roswell, NM, and eventually landed in Lubbock, TX, which has been home since around 2002. I am a Christian, a single daddy, and I’m self-employed as a Commercial General Contractor. I have a passion for life, for kids, for people, and both the construction and agriculture communities. I truly believe in working to make a difference in this world—and I’m grateful that I get to help build it, too!

My purpose in life is simple:

“I am a free man living and loving life, making a difference for God’s will.”

Through this walk of life, I’ve been led to share “A Daddy’s Story.” This has been on my mind and heart for most of my adult life, and with some recent life events, I’ve realized—it’s way past time to get started.

We only have right now. This moment is the only guarantee you and I have. A dear mentor and friend, someone I deeply admire, used to always say:
“STOP! We only have right now.”

So I’m taking that to heart… and here goes:
“This Daddy’s Story.”
